Eva Freeman Shaw

Mrs. Eva F. Shaw of Aurora, Colorado was called home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2019.

Mrs. Shaw was born in Bolton, North Carolina. She was the daughter to the late Tanty and Cynthia (Lavender) Freeman.

Prior to moving to Colorado, Eva lived in Springfield, Massachusetts for over 50 years. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts and taught in the Springfield public schools for 27 years. Eva was a member of St. John's Congregational Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willie Leroy Shaw; brothers, Frederick Freeman Sr. and Benjamin Freeman; sisters, Odessa Freeman Tribble and Queen Victoria Freeman.

She is survived by her son, Russell Leroy Shaw (Veronica); grandchildren, Lawson Russell Shaw and Leona McCan Shaw, all of Aurora, Colorado; sister, Leatha Mae Freeman Shaw of Queens Village, New York; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
