Eugene F. ""Gene"" Smith Jr., 89, of Morrison, Colorado passed away on September 29, 2012. Beloved husband of Myrna. Father of Cindy (Jonathan) Clark, Adra Baca, Charissa (David) Barg & Blake (Karen) Smith. Step-Father of Denise Reno, Gary Sanders, Mark Sanders, Mike Sanders & Christine Tapler. Grandfather of 21 & Great-Grandfather of 7. Brother-in-law of Dot Smith. Memorial Service will be Sunday, October 14, 2012, 2:00pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. Private Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations suggested to American Cancer Society, 2255 South Oneida Street, Denver, Colorado 80224, www.cancer.org.
