Eugene Mcdaniel

Eugene “Gene” E. McDaniel, age 95, of Westminster, died peacefully on January 26, 2023. He was born in Hemingford, Nebraska on July 26, 1927. The family moved to Denver a short time later.

Gene was a photographer for the army from 1945-1946. After the army he worked at Rockmont/MailWell envelope companies for 41 years. He enjoyed his free time jeeping, fishing, water skiing, and building/fixing things in his garage.

Gene is survived by his wife Opal, sons Steve, Dan, Kerry, Scott, Kelly, Shawn and Casey, and daughters Diana Sidell, Wendy Metcalf and Jenni Bradley, as well as, 23 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons George and Barry.
