Esperanza "Pera" Chavez De Vasquez

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Esperanza (“Pera”) Chavez de Vasquez, de 71 años. Esperanza nació el 19 de Abril de 1955, en “El Tepetate”, Loreto, Zacatecas, México y falleció el Sábado 4 de Julio de 2026 en su hogar en Denver, Colorado. 

Esperanza creció en su tierra natal junto a sus padres que llevaron un estilo de vida como agricultores. Esperanza contrajo matrimonio con Tereso Vasquez Ruiz. A través de los años juntos formaron una hermosa familia. Emigraron a los Estados Unidos para proveer una mejor vida a sus hijos. Ella fue ama de casa dedicándose al hogar y cuidado de sus hijos. 

A Esperanza le encantaba pasar tiempo junto a su familia y seres queridos. Ella disfrutaba de la artesanía mexicana haciendo almohadones, manteles y tejidos a mano. Esperanza también fue conocida por su pasión en la cocina. Los platillos mejor conocidos por su familia y seres queridos fueron su mole, birria y tamales. Le gustaba tener varios tipos de pajaritos porque le encantaba ver sus colores vibrantes y escucharlos cantar. Disfrutaba tener diversas clases de plantas y flores en su hogar. 

Esperanza se ha reunido en el descanso eterno con sus padres; Ezequiel Chavez Reyes y Maria Del Pilar Casillas Lomelí y su hermano, Rogelio Chavez Casillas.

Le sobreviven los siguientes familiares a los cuales les dio su amor incondicional: Su esposo, Tereso Vasquez Ruiz. Hijos; Cesar, Cristobal, Omar y Ricardo Vasquez. Hijas; Marisol y Candelaria Vasquez. Nietos; Luis Manuel Vasquez Casillas, Cesar Tereso, Michelle, Aliyah, Analy y Andrea Vasquez, Marisela y Edwardo Contreras, Renee, Julissa, Leslie y Ivan Rodriguez y un bisnieto; Josiah Vasquez Hernandez. Hermanos; Francisco, Ricardo y German Chavez Casillas. Hermanas; Teresa y Maria Guadalupe Chavez Casillas. 

Dios la creó para ser la matriarca fundamental de nuestra familia. Cumplió su misión como nuestro pilar de fortaleza, sabiduría, fe y amor incondicional a través de varias generaciones. 

Su legado vivirá con nosotros para siempre!

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Esperanza (“Pera”) Chavez de Vasquez, age 71. Esperanza was born on April 19, 1955, in “El Tepetate,” Loreto, Zacatecas, Mexico, and passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her home in Denver, Colorado. 

Esperanza grew up in her homeland, where her parents made their living as farmers. She married Tereso Vasquez Ruiz, and together they built a beautiful family over the years. They emigrated to the United States to provide a better life for their children. She was a homemaker, dedicating herself to the home and the care of her children. Esperanza loved spending time with her family and loved ones. She enjoyed Mexican handicrafts, creating handmade cushions, tablecloths, and knitted items. She was also known for her passion for cooking; her family and loved ones especially cherished her mole, birria, and tamales. She enjoyed keeping various types of small birds, as she loved watching their vibrant colors and listening to them sing. She was also delighted in having a variety of plants and flowers in her home. 

Esperanza has been reunited in eternal rest with her parents, Ezequiel Chavez Reyes and Maria Del Pilar Casillas Lomelí, and her brother, Rogelio Chavez Casillas. She is survived by the following family members, to whom she gave her unconditional love: Her husband, Tereso Vasquez Ruiz; her sons, Cesar, Cristobal, Omar, and Ricardo Vasquez; her daughters, Marisol and Candelaria Vasquez; her grandchildren, Luis Manuel Vasquez Casillas, Cesar Tereso, Michelle, Aliyah, Analy, and Andrea Vasquez, Marisela and Edwardo Contreras, Renee, Julissa, Leslie, and Ivan Rodriguez; her great-grandson, Josiah Vasquez Hernandez; her brothers, Francisco, Ricardo, and German Chavez Casillas; and her sisters, Teresa and Maria Guadalupe Chavez Casillas.

God created her to be the foundational matriarch of our family. She fulfilled her mission as our pillar of strength, wisdom, faith, and unconditional love across several generations. 

Her legacy will live on with us forever!
