Colorado native Emily Herrera left this world on her terms from natural causes on June 17 2022 in Northglenn Colorado

Burial services will be at Horan & McConaty located at 9998 Grant St. Thornton Co 80229

The Viewing will be on July 6th between 5pm and 8pm.

The Rosary will be on July 7th 11am to 11:30am

Funeral Mass will be at 11:30am to12:30pm

The estimated time of burial is 12:45pm to 1:00pm at Olinger Highlands Cemetery, 10201 Grant St. Thornton Co 80229.

The after-services reception will be at the American legion Hall in Commerce City at 5421 E 71st Ave from 1 pm till 6 pm.

Emily Herrera was born in Denver Colorado March 29th, 1954 to Ben and Ida Herrera.

She was the proud mother of Charles Herrera, Theodore Braun, Karl Braun, Aida Cobo, Frederico Cobo and Tony Cobo.

She had 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren

Emily Herrera devoted herself to others.

Everyone knew that no matter what they were going through she would bend over backward for them.

She was an incredible mother raising her children mostly by herself.

She was a devoted grandmother doing everything she could for her grandchildren.

She was an amazing sister staying close to her siblings and trying to always be there for them.

She was a supportive auntie that her nieces and nephews knew they could always call.

She was an unshakable friend that treated her friends like family.

Emily loved God and loved to travel, watch Broadway shows and musicals and go up the hill with family and friends but most of all help others get through the hard times in their lives.

Most had no idea what an amazing life she lived but if you asked her. She would say spending time with friends and family was her favorite thing to do.

The family doesn't ask for anything except what she would want.

To just be remembered as a mother, grandmother sister, auntie, and friend and for them to never forget how much she loved them.
