Emily Ann Gaydeski, 36, died at her home on Monday, May 4, 2026. She was born on September 7, 1989 in Colorado Springs, CO.
Emily is survived by her loving parents, Ann Marie Vose (Jeff) and John Gaydeski (Marcella); her siblings, Joe Gaydeski (Heather), Johnny Gaydeski, Jennifer Gaydeski (Melvin), and Jeanna Finch (Steve); her beloved Yia Yia, Agnes Zefferys, and late Papou, Gus Zefferys; and her loving boyfriend, Carlos Aguilar, and his daughter, Sophia Aguilar. She shared an extraordinary bond with her younger brother, Johnny. They were the best of friends and understood one another like no one else could. Emily loved her kitties, her home, and her garden. She shared her life and heart with Carlos and Sophia, whom she deeply adored.
A beautiful soul, Emily’s warmth, intelligence, creativity, and joyful, fun-loving spirit touched everyone fortunate to know her. She passed away far too soon, leaving behind a family and community of people who loved and cared for her deeply and will carry her memory forever.
Emily was exceptionally talented in so many ways. She loved music, singing, literature, writing and especially drawing. Her love of art can be seen on every wall of her home, each filled with sketches and paintings spanning her lifetime. Yet what made Emily truly unforgettable was not only her talent and accomplishments but the energy she brought into the lives of others. She carried herself with positivity, humor, and resilience, even during the difficult times. Her upbeat spirit and quick wit brought comfort, laughter and light to those around her.
Emily graduated from Lakewood High School, received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver and spent time living in Seattle, Hawaii and Las Vegas before returning home to Colorado.
Emily's beauty, talent, humor and loving heart will never be forgotten. Though her loss leaves an immeasurable emptiness, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched and the memories her family and friends will treasure forever.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Horan and McConaty, 1091 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80246. All friends and family are welcome.
