Elwyn Francis Schaefer Jr

Elwyn was born and raised in Patchogue on Long Island, August 27, 1944. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Ann Wilson. He is survived by his brother, Gary and sister in law Linda, his nephew Brett Schaefer and wife Christine, his niece Lindsey Amitrano and husband Frank, along with his great nephew Hunter and great niece Giavonna Amitrano.

He graduated from Columbia University in 1966 with a bachelors degree and earned a law degree from Colorado University in 1969. He practiced law for over 50 years, retired and still earned accolades as an advisor to several law practices.

Even though he lived in Denver, he was still an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed attending the Denver Nugget basketball games when he could.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him on Long Island as well as in Denver.
