Elsie Jones

Elsie Lucille Jones, 88, of Northglenn passed away on October 23, 2020 at Northglenn Heights Assisted Living.  Born on January 25, 1932 she was the daughter of John and Molly (Brunkhardt) Petrie.  Elsie married Oscar Jones November 8th, 1952 and they shared 51 years of marriage.

Elsie worked as a cook at a local elementary school.  She enjoyed cooking, bowling, sewing, fishing, flower arranging, and loved making jewelry at her assisted living. She was a huge Bronco fan and talking football.  She loved to reminisce about her life and family was of importance to her.

People who knew her best will remember her for her sassy and witty personality and total orneriness to the very end.

She is survived by her daughter Linda, and her husband Jerry, her son Jeffrey and his wife Bonnie, six grand children, Stacy, Hilarie, Evan, Joey, Jeremy, Brandi, and 15 great-grand children, Hailey, Triston, Alyssa, Caden, Brennon, Devon, Savonna, Zoie, Aydon, Leon jr, Josiah, Jasper, Judah, Levi and Westin.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Steven Jones.

A private burial will be held in Highland Cemetery, Thornton.
