(née Siegman, formerly Rickard)

Elsbeth “Beth” Teague, age 97, passed away on October 9, 2026.

Born in 1928, Beth grew up on her family’s farm in Bennett, Colorado. A country girl through and through, she was hardworking, fiercely independent, and self-reliant—qualities inspired by her mother, who lived on the family farm alone for many years.

In 1945, Beth married Max Rickard. They had four children—Joan, Barb, Ed, and Danny—and lived in various places across the United States and Puerto Rico during Max’s service as an Air Force pilot, a role Beth took great pride in. They also operated a crop-dusting business together.

Returning to Denver, Beth raised her children while working for King Soopers, first as a meat wrapper and later as one of the company’s first female meat cutters.

In her 50s, Beth married Bob Teague. They enjoyed traveling and riding motorcycles together, with Alaska holding a special place in Beth’s heart.

A lifelong Denver Broncos fan, Beth loved country music, houseplants, and golf. Active in the Heather Gardens community, she continued golfing well into her 80s. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and the generations that followed grow up.

Beth is survived by her daughters, Joan and Barb; son, Ed; six grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Max and Bob; brother, Tom; and son, Danny.
