Eloise H Leyden

Eloise H Leyden peacefully passed away on May 19, 2026, in Centennial, Colorado. Eloise was born in Denver on June 9, 1931. After graduating from South High School (1949) and the University of Colorado (1953), Eloise married Glenn Leyden, whom she had known since elementary school days. They were married for 58 years.

Eloise was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and educator, having taught for several years in the Denver and Cherry Creek school systems. Among her many interests and friends was a bridge club that met regularly for nearly forty years, all members being from their South High School experience.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, and sister Elsbeth. Two children survive her, Terry Leyden of Littleton and Leslie O’Breza of Lone Tree, and three grandchildren, Drew and Sean Leyden and Lauren O’Breza.

Friends and family will long remember her as a South Denver Girl, a place dear to her heart.

Private burial services will be held on May 27.
