Eliza "Liza" Padilla

Eliza C. Padilla “Liza”, 70, of Denver CO , passed away October 13 2020,  at 11:19 am with her loved ones by her side.

She was born to her  late parents Salvador and Lilly Rivera, January 09,1950, in Costilla, New Mexico. Liza was the 7th child born out of 14 siblings.

She married the late Ubaldo “Frank” Padilla  in July 0f 1972 and they lived together in Longmont ,Colorado Springs and San Luis  Colorado for 38 years. Liza  is survived by two daughters. Frances Perez of  Fort Worth Texas  and Natalie Cisco of Denver Colorado. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Reshai Cisco, Jennesi Cisco, Marcelo Perez, Revellis Cisco, Mauricio Perez, Dorsett Davis and one great-granddaughter Nova Dawn Cisco. Liza was predeceased by her loving husband in 2009.

Liza has given her entire life and love to her  family . She passed on her morals , respect and traditions to all of  her grandchildren and loved them dearly. Liza was immensely proud of her daughters and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. As her health declined, she lived and was beautifully cared for by her daughter Natalie. Liza often repeated the quote: "We are only lent to one another ,so cherish each other because the only thing we take when we go are those memories .”

Liza’s Celebration of life will have the visitation  ceremony which  will be held on Thursday October 22, 2020 at 4 p.m. at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, with the Rosary and Memorial Tribute to follow at 6 pm.The Mass will take place at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Loreto on Friday October 23, 2020.  A procession from the Funeral Home to Our Lady of Loreto will take place Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. with a
lunch reception to follow Mass @12:30pm- 5:00pm, 3890 Kipling St, Wheat Ridge.
