Elizabeth Wessling

Bette Wessling was born in Marquette, Michigan on June 14, 1925. She obtained her RN Degree from St. Mary's College in Madison, WI, in 1949. She married Arnold F. Wessling in May 1950. Bette and Arnold moved to Colorado in 1950 and resided in East Denver. In 1963, they moved to Littleton, Colorado, where she resided until her death on September 27, 2016. Bette worked as a pediatric nurse for 30 years in Denver, prior to her retirement. She is survived by 3 children, John (Gerri) Wessling, Greg (Brandi) Wessling and Lisanne (Michael) Sponsel, and 6 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, 2PM - 4PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Blvd. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Gardens of Saint Elizabeth, 2835 West 32nd Avenue, Denver, 80211, Tuesday, October 4, at 9:30 AM. A reception at the Gardens will follow to celebrate her life and is open to all of her friends and family. She will be buried at a private ceremony with her husband Arnold, at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Gardens of St. Elizabeth.
