Elizabeth Joy Watt

Elizabeth Joy Watt, age 20, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 15, 2024. She was born October 12, 2003, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to James and Emma Watt. The family moved to Colorado in 2006, where she became a big sister to Allison Watt in 2009. Elizabeth graduated from Cherokee Trail High School in 2022.

Elizabeth truly embodied her middle name and brought joy to those around her. Elizabeth was feisty and sassy with an amazing sense of humor. She loved unconditionally and was generous with her amazing hugs. She enjoyed being surrounded by laughter and would pull you close to share her joyous moments with you. She loved following along while being read to. She enjoyed music and loved her mom’s singing and dancing the most. Elizabeth touched the lives of so many people, bringing light, love, laughter, and joy to us all. Our tears and grief are filled with our love for her and the love she shared with us.

Elizabeth is survived by her parents, James and Emma Watt and her sister, Allison Watt. Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Elizabeth are invited to Horan and McConaty, 5303 E County Line Road, Centennial Colorado at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday August 31, 2024, to celebrate her life.
