Elizabeth Ann Canavan

Elizabeth Ann Canavan, 87, passed away peacefully February 17, 2010 in Denver, Colorado. She was born January 1, 1923 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to John G. and Annie M. O'Neill Morrell. She married John Joseph Canavan. He preceded her in death in 1996. Elizabeth is survived by her four children: Patricia Marie Long, Mary Elizabeth (husband, Michael D.) Price, John Joseph Canavan Jr., and Anne Margaret (husband, Scott) Stone; eight Grandchildren, Michael Long, Christopher Price, Kari Long Daniels, Jennifer Price Ondr, Kelley Long, Julie Price, Christian Stone, and Rachel Stone; four Great-grandchildren, Trevor Daniels, Adrianna Price, Cooper Daniels, and Blake Ondr. She was preceded in death by a son, Tom; and four sisters. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 2:00pm, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 South Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80246. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be send in Elizabeth's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
