Elizabeth Ann Brewer (née Kiesling) October 21, 1935 – June 23, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Elizabeth Ann Brewer, who passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2025, at her home at Crossroads Senior Living Center in Northglenn, Colorado. She was 89 years old. Elizabeth was born on October 21, 1935, in Denver, Colorado, to Barbara Ann Kiesling and Conrad Kiesling Sr. She was a woman of strength, deep compassion, and unshakable honesty. In her later years at Crossroads, Elizabeth flourished. The staff lovingly called her "Trouble" for her spirited, no-nonsense attitude. She adored her home there and was deeply cherished by the remarkable caregivers who surrounded her with genuine affection. Weekly visits from her son often came with reminders of how loved and admired she was. Though she never formally became a nurse, Elizabeth was a natural healer—always ready with a remedy, a warm blanket, or a comforting meal. Her famous cure for childhood illness—soft-boiled eggs with cinnamon sugar toast—remains a cherished tradition to this day. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, William “Bill” Brewer, taken far too soon. She carried his memory with love and honor throughout her life, remembering fondly the beautiful life they built together. She is survived by: - Her son, Eric Steven “Steve” Brewer, and his wife Bernadette Gomez-Brewer - Her daughter, Christine Marie Everist, and her husband Garland Everist - Grandsons: L.G., Matthew, and Tyler, and their wives Kacy, Sarah, and Shalon - Great-grandchildren: Tayler, Lyric, and Harper - Numerous nieces and nephews who brought her joy Elizabeth had a fulfilling career as a sales associate at Fashion Bar, where she shone in both style and service. She shared her hidden talent for knitting by creating beautiful handmade blankets for loved ones, especially during her recovery from uterine cancer.

A lifelong animal lover, Elizabeth welcomed every stray with open arms and a warm heart—many of whom became her cherished companions. In honor of her love for animals, the family kindly requests donations be made to the ASPCA in her memory.

Her laughter, her wisdom, and her unconditional love will live on in those she touched. She will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held 10am, Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Horan & McConaty Funeral Chapel, 9998 Grant Street in Thornton.
