Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Marek

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Marek (née Sochacki) passed away on August 7, 2026, in Morrison, at the age of 83. Born on July 26, 1943, in Illinois, Betty lived a fulfilling life as wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Betty loved cooking family dinners, knitting, crocheting and reading.  While she was involved in Church activities, she preferred a quiet, peaceful life.

A funeral service will be held for Betty on Monday, August 24, 11:30am, at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado.  Betty will be laid to rest at 1:30 pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Drive, Denver, Colorado.
