Elaine Selander

Elaine Beverly (Harvego) Selander,   

July 8, 1927 - October 15, 2023, Lakewood, CO

Elaine was born 7/2/1927 in Breckenridge, MN   to Guy Harvego and Doris Lenore (Alfredson) Harvego. She graduated from Wadena High School in 1945.   Elaine was united in marriage to Carl J. Selander on June 6, 1948.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Carl, parents Guy and Doris Harvego and niece Pam.  She is survived by her sons David (Kay) and Paul (Laurie); six grandsons Carl, John (Laura), Kevin, Michael (Stella), James (Michelle), and Mark; five great- grandchildren Charlotte, Matthew, Natalie, Luke and Julia; her sister Marlis Pilgrim, her niece Paula, and her nephew Jim.

Funeral services will be held at Our Father Lutheran Church 6335 South Holly Street, Centennial, CO 80121. November 4, 2023 @ 11:00 am

Her faith in Christ was an important part of her legacy to her sons and she passed in the late evening hours into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
