Elaine Makley

Elaine Stella Makley, born August 14th 1939, passed away peacefully in Denver, Colorado on January 18th 2023, she was 83 years old.

She is survived by her six children, Sharon Gentry, Leon Edley, Charissa Saverio, Ashton Charles, Byron Dorkins, and Charlaine Thet.  Elaine is also survived by her twelve loving grandchildren.

Born in Malaysia, growing up in Singapore, Elaine was most thankful and proud of her adoptive parents, for which she was afforded many wonderful opportunities.

She had a profound love for travel, which led her to working within the travel industry for many years and building a home on several different continents.

Elaine will always be remembered for her devotion to her children, grandchildren, tremendous love of animals, and passion of music, sewing, cooking, and painting.

Elaine will be immensely missed and remembered always by those that loved her.
