Elaine Dawson

Elaine (Heinrich) Dawson, 73, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on December 20, 2019 at Arvada Health Center. Born on December 12, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late Arthur and Barbara Dawson.

Elaine was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1946 to Barbara and Arthur Dawson. The family moved to Denver in 1956 when the Glenn L. Martin company offered incentives to employees to help start up their new missile plant here. Elaine married Les Redifer in 1968 and they had two children, Carolyn and Joe. She followed in her parent’s footsteps and worked for the (now) Lockheed Martin company for 30 years before retiring in the early 2010’s.

Elaine enjoyed working in her yard, watching movies, and visiting with family.

Elaine was preceded death by her parents and second husband, Arden Heinrich. Her siblings, Pat Dawson and Art Dawson, her children, her grand daughter, Angela and great-grand daughter Lilith will miss her.

A Visitation will be held on December 27, 2019, starting at 3:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado 80227. A time of remembrance and sharing will begin at 4:00 PM.
