Eileen Theresa Frain

Eileen Theresa Frain of Westminster, Colorado passed away on December 17, 2014 at the age of 88. Eileen was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 2, 1926 the daughter of Patrick Fogarty and Nellie O'Keefe both from the west coast of Ireland. Eileen attended Girls Commercial HS in Brooklyn where she trained as a secretary. She was employed as a legal secretary for a NYC law firm until she retired at 62. She moved to San Francisco two years later where she remained for 15 wonderful years living close to her sister and brother in law. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering at the local hospital and Book Bay where she sorted and distributed books. She loved to read and wrote book reviews on many of the books she read. She was a great cook and baker and enjoyed preparing food for family and friends. She moved to Colorado in 2005 where she lived in a retirement community until her death. She is survived by her four children, Gene Frain (Deborah), Dede Frain, Debbie Lloyd (Rick) and Rich Frain (Maria); 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; her brother Patrick Fogarty and nieces and nephew Cara Fogarty, Maryellen McCarthy and Kevin McCarthy. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank and sister Kay McCarthy. A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Eileen on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. Everyone is welcome to attend.
