Earl Robert Narverud, 94, died at home on September 24th, 2021.
Born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, he lived most of his life in Denver, Colorado and worked as a tool-room machinist with Eberhart in Denver, Colorado for 42 years. Earl was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman and a member of the Lakewood Elks Lodge for 42 years where he ballroom danced with his wife of 55 years, Edna (“Rusty”) Narverud until she passed away in 2007. He later met and ballroom danced with his best friend and companion, Tina McElroy, at the Lakewood Elks.
Survivors include Tina McElroy, Denver, Colorado, Gail Newell, Killen, Alabama, Joann Narverud, Bennett, Colorado, and Colleen Chartier, Lakewood, Colorado.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Edna C. Narverud and his son, Earl Layne Narverud.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11:00AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood. A reception will follow.
Committal Service with military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver.
