E. Cecil Murphy Sept. 12, 1924 - Sept. 13, 2014 Cecil was a retired Lt. in the Denver Police Dept. as well as an accomplished artist & musician. Survived by son Greg (Gail); daughter Michelle; 2 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by wife Pat, son Mark, grandchild Kelly, brother John. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014 @ 12:30 PM, at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. Interment will be at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
