Dustin Hammes, 41, of Denver, died on April 5, 2026. He was born in October of 1984 in Garden City, Kansas.

Dustin graduated from Urbandale High School in Des Moines, Iowa. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Iowa. He was an avid woodworker and talented musician, known for his technical skill and craftsmanship in both fields.

He is survived by his parents, Dan and Sue Hammes; his brothers, Brady Hammes and Matt Hammes; and his four nieces and nephews.

Service Information: A funeral mass will be held at Mother of God Catholic Church in Denver. Following the mass, a reception will be held at the home of his brother, Brady Hammes.
