Drusilla Minnie Gregg was born to Albert Goldman McDaniel and Janie Blair on October 29, 1924 in Muskogee County, Braggs, Oklahoma. She had 7 Brothers and Sisters. She worked at the The Log Cabin Cafe as her first job and then worked as an Operator at Camp Gruber where she met Erphie Alexander Gregg who was serving in the Army. They were engaged before his departure overseas and Married November 7th 1945 on his return. They moved to Amarillo for EA's work where she gave birth to George Allen Gregg on November 5th, 1948. They stayed in Texas another 3 years before work moved them to Colorado. In Colorado, she gave birth to Diane Denise Gregg on April 15th, 1954. She worked at Mountain Bell as an Information Operator and then moved on to work at CCU Credit Union as an Operator for 8 years. She spent time as a homemaker after the kids were grown. Dru was a avid Broncos Fan and watched every game whether they were winning or losing. She was a devout Christian and attended KenCaryl Church up until the last few years when her eyesight and hearing prevented her from enjoying the sermons and hymns. She was a great fisherwoman who loved the mountains and went camping with her husband E.A. for many decades until his death. After his death, she spent time with family, friends. She was acquainted with Ray Bowlen through Church and they enjoyed many things like traveling and church activites. After Ray's passing she spent the remainder of her days with her daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren. She is survived by her child Diane Denise Smith (Larry S.), Littleton, CO, and daughter-in-law, Karen Gregg, Cheyenne Wells, CO. Her greatest joy in her remaining years were her grandsons Jerrold (Jerry) A Smith, Littleton, CO, and Brian Curtis Gregg, Visalia, CA; great-grandchildren Gavin Gregg, Lilly Gregg, Evan Gregg, Tyler Showen, Lucas Helm, Hunter Helm and Andrew Helm. She was preceded in death by son George Allen Gregg. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, CO.
