Dr. Amado M. Lay
July 19, 1928 — February 5, 2019
Dr. Amado M. Lay, 90, passed away in Aurora, Colorado on Monday, February 4, 2019. Amado was born to Amado Lay-Jon and Maria Capestany in Remedios, Cuba on July 19, 1928.
Dr. Lay is survived by his wife, Miriam Lay; son, Amado M. (Ann Haws) Lay Jr.; granddaughter, Tacy (Phil) Boje; sister in law, Judith (George) Loescher; nephew, Carl H. Loescher; and great nephew, Santiago Loescher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amado Lay-Jon and Maria Capestany.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11am. Interment will take place at Saint Simeon Cemetery at a later date.
