Dr. Alessandra Barreiro

Alessandra, 32, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away February 27, 2018, in Denver, Colorado. Allie graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2008, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2012, and became a board-certified pediatrician in 2015. She was in fellowship at the University of Colorado Children’s Hospital, pursuing a career as a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician. While in Denver, Allie was heavily involved in fitness and had many gym families, including FitLo and Atherial Aerial Yoga. Survived by her husband, Brenton Yancey; parents, Mauricio & Sheri Barreiro; brother, Christian (Mery) Barreiro; in-laws, Kathy and Robert Yancey; Becky Brady; and Avery Lampkin; and her dogs, Tucker, Sierra and Whiskey. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 12:00 - 3:00 PM, at Peaceful Alternatives, 2325 York Road, in Timonium, Maryland 21093.
