Doyle Allen Kier was born on July 25, 1941 he passed on August 1, 2025. He was the youngest of three brothers born to Earl and Inez Kier, his oldest brother was Darrel (Connie), and twin brother Don (Patti). He was preceded in death by his parents and both brothers and his sister in law Connie. Doyle attended elementary school in Abarr, CO and High School in Yuma, CO. As a teenager he worked in Yuma Mastains grocery, for farmers in the area, and building Dillon Dam. He served his country in the Army and after returning home he met his wife Jane Twiss. They were married March 5, 1966. At this point he joined the Denver Fire Department, and worked his way up to the position of Engineer. Two children Rick & Carla were their joy. He had two wonderful grandchildren, Nicole and Joey Kier.
Doyle and Jane had 59 happy years raising their children in Elizabeth, hunting, and fishing with friends and family. They went to Arizona in the winters for several years after they both retired. Doyle took up wood carving at that time as well as his brothers. They all produced many beautiful items. He joined his family in board games and cheering on the Broncos.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
