Douglas Kenneth McCulloh

Douglas Kenneth McCulloh, 87, passed away on May 3, 2026. Born November 10, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland to Ralph and Anna McCulloh, he was an only child. He grew up in Baltimore and graduated from Loyola University in 1960 before obtaining his masters degree in Physics from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN in 1962. He later joined the Air Force as a nuclear research officer where he ultimately achieved the rank of Captain. His time in the military enabled him to travel the world where, in 1966 in Japan, he met Regina. They married in 1975 and in 1976 settled in Denver where they raised their family. Doug was preceded in death by his wife Regina. He is survived by his daughters Ann McCulloh of Lakewood and Maureen (Paul) Schofield of Portland, Maine; grandchildren Penelope and Truman Schofield. Visitation, Monday, May 11, 2026, 9:30 am, Rosary 10:00 am, Funeral Mass 10:30 am, Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 90227. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery - Mother Cabrini Mausoleum, 12:00 pm.
