Dorothy (Lee) McDonnell 83 of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully March 10, 2022.
She was born June 2, 1938, in St Louis, MO. Lee grew up in St Louis, MO and lived there until she married and moved to Denver. She and her family lived in and around Denver. She was devoted to her family and friends throughout her life.
Her husband David McDonnell and son Kevin McDonnell preceeded her death. She is survived by her loving son, Brian McDonnell, her sister Cynthia Shaw and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, as well as many friends in the Denver area.
She was a grass roots community leader in the University Hills neighborhood and loved teaching preschool around the Denver area.
