Dorothy Ann McCaffrey

Dorothy Ann McCaffrey passed away on March 16, 2015 surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. She was 81 years old. She leaves in her wake, her four 'perfect' children, Diane (Kevin), Kathleen (Vance), Tom (Lorie), and Terry, and her seven equally 'perfect' grandchildren, Molly, Kelly, Andy, Jennifer, Haley, Connor and Colton. Dorothy was born in Newcastle, Nebraska to William Henry and Rose Agnes O'Toole and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. She moved to Denver at the age of 18. She married Tom McCaffrey in 1958 and they shared 49 years of marriage before he passed away in 2007. Dorothy has seen the world on countless travels and lived a full and wonderful life. She cherished her family and friends, and will be remembered with love. All will miss her generous Irish spunk. A Funeral Mass for Dorothy will be held on Friday, March 20, 2pm, Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 South Monaco Parkway, Denver. A reception will be held immediately following her service.
