Dorothy Chee Lo

It is with deep respect and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Dorothy Chee Lo, a cherished educator whose dedication to primary and elementary education enriched the lives of countless children. Born on January 24, 1981, in Denver, Colorado, Dorothy’s life was a testament to the transformative power of knowledge and compassion.

On May 9, 2026, at the age of 45, Dorothy passed away in Denver, Colorado. She leaves behind a legacy of intellectual curiosity, patience, and kindness that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her.

She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was also a kind educator who touched the lives of countless children through her kindness, patience, and dedication. Her gentle spirit and caring heart made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. In her free time, Dorothy loved to travel, read, and spend time with her family and friends.

The community will honor Dorothy’s life and contributions through memorial services held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - North Metro/Thornton, located at 9998 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado 80229. These solemn services will begin at 8:00 AM on June 28, 2026, and continue through June 29, 2026, concluding at 11:00 AM at the same venue. Following these services, a graveside service will take place at 12:00 PM on June 29, 2026, at Broomfield County Commons Cemetery, situated at 12801 Sheridan Boulevard, Broomfield, Colorado 80020.
