Dorothy Grace Buhler

Dorothy Grace Buhler, of Aurora, passed peacefully on May 23. 2024; at the age of 96. Dorothy grew up on Long Island, NY, where she met and married the late Frank E. Buhler. Together they raised seven children in Levittown, Pennsylvania. At the age of 81, Dorothy bravely left her New York and Pennsylvania friends and family and ventured out to Colorado; to be closer to her children and grandchildren, who resided there. She quickly made many new friends and took periodic trips back to Pennsylvania and to Florida, to visit.

Dorothy is survived by her son Frank (Amanda) Buhler, son John (Kenji) Buhler, daughter Susan (Dale) Syhre, daughter Dorothy (the late John) Lias, daughter Marianne (Chuck) Newel, daughter Janet (Richard) Robb, daughter Catherine Buhler, as well as her sister Edith Eggert and sister-in-law Erica Webster. Additionally, she is survived by 14 grand-children and 8 great-grand-children. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents John and Catherine, as well as her brother John.

A Funeral Service will be held at Horan & McConaty, in Aurora, CO on Thursday May 30, 2024, at 11:00am; with visitation beginning at 10:00am, at the funeral home. A livestream of the service can be found just below.
