Dorothy M. Alexander

ALEXANDER, DOROTHY M. Dorothy Merkel Alexander, 94, of Denver, passed away December 10, 2009. Dorothy was grateful for the love of her three children, Mary Murphy, Bill Alexander, and Julie Ripley. She was born on Valentine's Day, 1915, in Webster Groves, MO. She earned two degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, and married Ray Alexander on December 23, 1939. They moved to Denver in 1948, and retired back to Denver in 1974. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League.
