Doris W. Jarvis

Doris Willis Jarvis, 83, died on September 13, 2005 in Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Jarvis was born in New Bern, North Carolina and was a resident of Norfolk, Virginia for more than 50 years. She was the widow of the late Henry Lincoln Jarvis and is survived by her daughter Phyllis Bowles; her son, H. Keith Jarvis and daughter-in-law Shellie Dunham; six grandchildren, Scott Simmons, Jill Simmons; Richard Bowles and wife, Marti Bowles, Adam Jarvis; Kelly Jarvis and Carlie Jarvis; four great-grandsons, Joshua Simmons, Ryan Simmons, Christopher Simmons and Parker Bowles; her sister, Evelyn Simons; and sister-in-law Helga Jarvis. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, October 3, 2005, 9:00 a.m., at Arlington National Cemetery, under the direction of Adams Green Funeral Home, Herndon, VA.D
