Doris Jean "Dani" Hilger

Doris Jean (Dani) Hilger, daughter of Edward Daniel & Alma Daniel (both deceased), was born in Davenport Iowa on Dec 21, 1930.  Dani had a sister Donna Lee (deceased), and a brother “Bud” (deceased).  

Dani is survived by her husband, Don Hilger, and her son : John Hilger (and wife Cindy), and her daughter Tracey Trujillo (and Husband Anthony).  Dani is also survived by her grandchildren, who she adored : Erika Trujillo, Justin Trujillo, Camden Trujillo, Preston Hilger, Brandon Hilger, Addison Hilger, Katelyn Hilger, and Dani’s great granddaughter Ariana.  

Dani was a devout catholic, and she loved her family passionately.  

Dani was involved in many social activities, loved to travel, and volunteered with numerous organizations.  

Dani passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside, on March 21,2024, at the age of 93.  

Catholic funeral services will be held on Tues April 9^th at St. Marks Catholic church in Highlands Ranch, CO; and she will be buried in Ft. Logan Cemetery.  The full schedule of events follows :
