Donald L. Palinckx

Donald passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. Don is survived by his dear wife, Mary; his children: Don (Debbie), Mike, Terri (Glenn), and Cara; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and his siblings: Judy (Phil), Jim, Dick (Laurie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donald was born February 18, 1935 in Longmont, Colorado. He liked to listen to different types of music and watch old westerns, especially anything by John Wayne. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and the family summer camp at Sleepy Cat up near Meeker, Colorado.

He worked as an Electronics Tech in the military and then in civilian life was a very successful salesman. He was also was a general contractor (for Custom Homes) and, with the help of his family, he built two homes specifically for them.

Before retiring he owned three dry cleaning locations where he facilitated the day-to-day operations. After Don retired, he focused on cooking and baking along with spending as much time as he could with family and friends.

Those who knew him will remember his dedication to his family, community and country.

A Memorial service will be held in his honor, Friday, April 4, 2025, 1pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood.
