Donald H. Jensen

Donald Henry ""Don"" Jensen, 75, of Littleton, passed away Tuesday, January 19, at home. He was born on October 17, 1940, in Lyons, Kansas, son of George and Vivian Jensen. He married Sally Watson on May 11, 1963. They met at Western State college. Don served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years, which took him to Minnesota and Japan. Don worked in the banking industry after his time in the Air Force. A job which eventually led him to the mortgage industry until he retired. He made many lifetime friends while working in the mortgage industry. To fill his days in retirement, he drove for a transportation company shuttling clients to the airport. Don enjoyed his family, working in his yard and the 4th of July parties he and Sally hosted. He will be deeply missed by family and many friends. Don is survived by his wife Sally and children, Laurie, and Sandy (Bill) of Colorado Springs and grandchildren, Keith and Katelyn. Sister Peggy Martin, and cousin Cleo Blackwood. He was preceded in death by son Keith and his parents. There will be a Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Eleven-thirty in the Morning at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. A reception will follow the service in the Horan & McConaty Reception Center. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Two-fifteen in the Afternoon at Pavilion 'C'.
