Donald Ray Haltom

Donald Ray Haltom (aka Donnie or Don) 65 years old born September 11, 1959, as a twin born to Albert and Betty Haltom has passed away on November 25, 2024, due to a long illness at his childhood home. He will be so missed and he was loved by many. 

Donnie went to Sheridan School District K-12th and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1978. He excelled in many sports and was involved with many clubs. He loved the school dances. 

After graduation he got into the Grocery industry and moved up the ladder quickly to managing a produce department. He was married in 1979 to Patty Sanchez. In 1980 they had a son named Ryan Anthony Haltom. Years later he was remarried to Allison Haltom and with her had a daughter, Fauna Haltom in 1991. 

Donnie's hobbies were fishing, four-wheeling and cooking. He loved animals and had many pets in his lifetime. Donnie had a wonderful and silly sense of humor and loved to watch sports. He was such a fan of all our Colorado teams but he loved the Avalanche the best. 

He is survived by his mother Betty Haltom, twin sister Donna Cruz, brother Daniel Haltom, son Ryan Haltom, daughter Fauna Haltom, nephew Michael Haltom and brother-in-law Paul Cruz. 

He will be laid to rest next to Albert Haltom and Clinton Haltom at Golden Cemetery in a private service this month. 

No more suffering dear one. May you fly with the angels beneath your wings. Until we meet again.
