Donald Lee Groomer

94 years young, Don lived a full, independent life. His love of family, barbershop music and travel brought him joy. A WWII veteran, he's survived by daughters, Gretchen Nylander (Joe), Patrish Grant (Tom), Gale Eveleth (Doug), Carol Steinsiek (Dirk) and Heidi Groomer (Bruce) who preceded him to heaven. He lost two beloved wives, Helen and Gloria. Other survivors include his sister, Dottie Hill, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces and dear friends. Visitation Wednesday, December 3, 2014, 2:00-4:00pm followed by Rosary Service at 4:00pm, both at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E. County Line Chapel, Centennial. Funeral Mass Thursday, December 4, 2014, 9:30am, All Souls Catholic Church, 4950 S. Logan St., Englewood. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Frequency Chorus, a scholarship fund for young barbership singers, 10541 Laurelglen Cir., Highlands Ranch, CO 80130.
