Donald Richard Doiel

Donald Richard Doiel, Jr., 67, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on September 19, 2023. He was born on February 19, 1956, in Hastings, Nebraska. Donald served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 to 1984, where he held the rank of Staff Sergeant as an Amtrak diesel Mechanic. He dedicated his career to serving his country and was also an Automotive Mechanic after his service in the military.

Donald is survived by his beloved children, Patrick Doiel, Francis Doiel, and Sabrina Doiel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Doiel.

A Military Memorial Service will be held on October 4, 2023, at 10:30 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, located at 3698 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80236.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to the "National Coalition for Homeless Veterans" at their website, https://nchv.org/. Contributions to this organization will honor Donald's memory and support a cause that was close to his heart.
