Don L. Cumley

Don L. Cumley of Arvada, Colorado passed away on May 11, 2016 at the age of 82. Don Laurie Cumley was born February 28, 1934 to Don Collins Cumley and Nellie Marie Jones in Wray Colorado. His father often stated ""My only crop for the year."" Don grew up on the family farm. He attended Wray High School. After graduating from high school, Don along with some friends, joined the Navy. He always referred to the four years as the most enjoyable of his life. In 1959 he married Lorraine Smith. They had three sons, Chris, Michael and Patrick. Don is preceded in death by his father Don Collins, mother Nellie and siblings, Dale and Ruby. Don was a loving husband and father. He will be missed. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area B, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. A Reception honoring Don will immediately follow the Committal Service at Horan & McConaty Reception Center, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado.
