Don Lawson Brower, born in Caruthersville, Missouri, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the age of 82 on June 3, 2026 at his home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He moved to Redondo Beach, California at the age of 10 and went on to earn an accounting degree from UCLA. Don joined the United States Air Force in 1967. While stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado, he met his future wife, Karen Lee Wheeler in the Fall of 1967. They married July 5, 1968. He became a Captain in the Air Force and served in Vietnam, earning the Bronze Star Medal.
Don was an avid golfer, skier, movie and music lover, and loved spending time with friends, family, and his six grandkids.
Don was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Clyde Lawson Brower. He is survived by his wife, Karen Brower, daughter Michelle Yagey, son Don Brower II (Shelly), and his six grandkids; Mackenzie, Kelsey, Jacob, Ben, Zachary, and Annabelle.
