Dianna "Dee Dee" Estepp, age 46, of Westminster, CO passed away on August 18th, 2021.
Dee Dee was born on December 19th, 1974 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Dennis and Karen Estepp.
She served 8 years in the United States Navy, and in year 2000, she was awarded the Joint Service Achievement Medal.
She received her Bachelor's of Science in Business/Management from the University of Phoenix.
Those close to Dee Dee would describe her as a giving and thoughtful person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Dee Dee is survived by her mother Karen Estepp, her wife Isabel Calderon, and her brother Matthew R. Estepp.
Dee Dee’s beautiful, sweet, honest, positive, giving, fun, loving spirit has touched so many lives. She had a special way to connect to others. Dee Dee was a mentor, friend, daughter, mom to our precious Yorkie “Minnie” and the love of my life. Many have said she changed their lives forever, a light that will never be forgotten, she’s their Rock, cool personality, kind sweet soul, we love her so much, grateful for bringing joy into our lives, best boss ever, being a better person, helped grow to become a professional, never to be forgotten.
Dee Dee loved making others smile and laugh and it showed in all she did. All of the Holiday’s were so much fun and there were no limits to her decorations and treats. We would spend hours preparing gift bags with treats and fun stuff for her team at work and to give in our neighborhood.
Dee Dee loved life and we were so blessed to have 2 more years because of the trial treatment out in Pittsburgh. Dee Dee’s Dr. in Pittsburgh said that “Dee Dee’s participation in our trial has already taught us so much and will contribute to an eventual cure”. Dee Dee from the beginning of her cancer treatment wanted to be part of the trial treatment, if it meant helping others.
Honey, our adventures, quiet moments alone, just loving you, hearing your laugh, seeing your smile, playing with Minnie and your courage, your commitment to do things better, helping and being kind to others, your love of life will forever be etched in my heart.
