Dennis Ford Smith

Dennis Ford Smith, 71, of Denver, fell asleep in the Lord December 17, 2008. Dennis was a musician, playing with the Community Arts Symphony, the Denver Municipal Band, and the Brico Symphony. He was a teacher with the Denver Public Schools for 26 years. He is survived by Kathleen, his wife of 46 years; his children Susannah Smith, Emmett Smith, Sarah Walker; grandchildren Melanie & Michael Walker, Nathaniel and Emma Louise Smith. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM Monday, with a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM, Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd. Funeral Services 11:00 AM Tuesday, St. Herman Orthodox Church, 991 W. Prentice Ave., Littleton. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery immediately following the service.
