Denise "Shelly" Michle Langlais

Denise "Shelly" Michle Langlais, 71, gained her heavenly wings on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Boulder Canyon and Rehab Center. She was born on December 12, 1953, in Denver, Colorado. Shelly was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, beloved sister, and loyal friend.

She dedicated her life to caring for others, always willing to offer a helping hand during tough times. Shelly found joy in watching sports, camping, and fishing. She had a playful spirit and especially loved playing bingo and the slot machines, but above all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren. Even as her memory faded and names escaped her, the radiant smiles she shared during their visits spoke volumes of her love for them.

Shelly grew up in Aurora with eight siblings and married the love of her life, Michael, in August of 1973, when she was nineteen years old.

Shelly is preceded in death by her father, Doyle; her mother, Marjorie; her brothers, Christopher, Steven, and Jerry; her sister, Alice; and her daughter, Desiree.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughters, Linda, Jennifer (Dan), and Tamara (Aaron); her siblings Valerie, Joette, Robert, and Sean; and her eight grandchildren Vincent, Dominick, Kaden, Tanner, Abri, Asher, Liam, and Lexi. She was deeply loved and will be terribly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Service Information: A memorial and rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003.

Following the service, the family invites you to join them at The Spoke, located at 3625 Macanta Blvd, Castle Rock, CO 80108, to celebrate Shelly’s life with family and friends. Lunch will be provided.
