Denise "Lynn" Shafer, 68, Remembered with Love

Lynn was known for her deep, unwavering love and quiet strength. Born in St. Louis on November 14, 1956, she lived much of her life in Colorado, where she built a close-knit circle of family and friends. Though she often preferred simplicity in life, those who knew her well cherished her warmth, loyalty, and the quiet yet powerful presence she brought to every room.

Lynn was a devoted mother and grandmother who found the most joy in her family. She was a constant source of support to those who needed it, showing her love through thoughtful gestures—a warm meal, a helping hand, or just being there when someone needed her most.

She leaves behind a family who will forever remember her for her strength, kindness, and ability to make those around her feel understood and cared for. Lynn is survived by her husband, Carl, daughters Jennifer (Neal) and Tanya (Dylan), and 3 grandchildren, who will carry her memory with them always. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rich and Bette Storm.
