Denise Heller Guigli was born on August 31, 1954 in Monterey, CA. As a child of a military family, she lived overseas in Japan, outside of Detroit and Washington D.C., and eventually found her way to Colorado where she graduated from CSU and met her husband John. Denise began her career at Rose Medical Center in HR and personnel. She was determined and successful in her short working career, and always made time to have fun with her friends, vacation with John and host a good party. Denise loved people, was the life of the party, and cared deeply for her family and friends. After being diagnosed with MS in 1984, Denise did not let that stop her from maintaining a positive outlook on life. She also did not let MS dictate her future and had two daughters, Jennifer and Rebecca. She was a loving mother and strong role model for her girls. Denise battled with MS, and refused to let the disease take away her strong will to live. She will be remembered as a fighter who kept the biggest and brightest smile through every good and bad day. She had a sense of humor and addictive laugh that would lift the spirits of anyone around her. Her strength to endure and never give in was her greatest gift to those who knew her. Her commitment to MS research and awareness was her mission. To continue her wish to help others living with MS, we ask that a donation to the Rocky Mountain MS Center be made in her memory. http://mscenter.org/ Denise is survived by her husband John Guigli, daughters Jennifer (Guigli) Humphreys and Rebecca Guigli, parents Don and Muriel Heller, and sisters Debbie (Heller) Bottorff and Karen (Heller) Oney.
