DeLoss ""De"" Rench

DeLoss ""De"" Rench, 73, passed away on May 10, 2017 at his home in Thornton, Colorado. DeLoss was born on December 8, 1943 in Clovis, New Mexico where his father was stationed during his Army service. He was the first born of nine children to the family. De attended Sac City High School graduating in the class of 1962. After graduation and extensive training, he became licensed in cosmetology, which quickly became his life's passion. De is survived by his loving wife Marilyn who he married 48 years ago. They were married in Jefferson, IA on November 8, 1969 and had four beautiful children together. He then became a proud business owner after opening up the first full-service hair salon in Storm Lake, IA, Salon DeLoss. This salon and the work that came along with it, quickly became De's passion! While maintaining a good reputation, it was very easy for him to help his clients look and feel beautiful. He continued to show his strong work ethic by working at two separate salons in and around Thornton, CO up until the time he had to schedule the quadruple bypass surgery in March, 2017. He enjoyed street rods, corvettes, attending car shows, playing cards with friends and family, dancing, and spending time with his lovely family. DeLoss was the definition of a social butterfly, anyone who knew him understood what a special man he was. His sense of humor and contagious laughter will forever be remembered by so many loved ones. He will be greatly missed by so many. DeLoss is survived by his wife: Marilyn Rench. Four children: Nichole Rench Wilson (Tyrone Wilson) of Thornton, CO, Lisa Rench of Thornton, CO, Anthony Rench of Denver, CO, and Teresa Rench (Eric Hansgaard) of Loveland, CO. Grandchildren: Keisha Wilson, Jessica Rench, Keenan Wilson, Ryan Hansgaard, Lauren Hansgaard, and Jace Rench. Siblings: Marilyn Gerry of Sac City, IA, Danny Rench of Milbank, SD, Jane Bennett of Sac City, IA, Jerry Rench of Burleson, TX, Kathy Martin of Sac City, IA, Tom Rench of Omaha, NE, Bill Rench of Sac City, IA, Donny Rench of Norwalk, IA. Memorial will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00 am at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80229.
