Debbie Sue Gutierez, age 62, passed away on July 14, 2026. Born on August 17, 1963, Debbie was a caring mother, grandmother, and friend, remembered for her warmth and sense of humor.

Debbie loved the changing seasons, especially fall. She was a good friend to those who knew her and had a way of turning coworkers into family, building friendships that lasted throughout the years.

She was the mother of Nicole, Michael, and Kim, and grandmother to Brooklyn, Otto, Olivia, Isabel, Alyssa, and Gracie. Her children and grandchildren were an important part of her story and the family she leaves behind.

Funeral services will be held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 1150 E. Dartmouth Ave., on Sunday, August 9th at 12:00 PM. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at Central Recreation Center, 18150 E. Vassar Pl., Aurora, CO 80013.

Debbie will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her, but the memories, laughter, and stories shared with her will live on. And on a clear night, if you look toward the moon long enough, you just might catch a glimpse of her flying by on her broomstick.
