David W. Thayer passed away August 12, 2005 after a long illness. Adoring husband of 49 years to Ginny; dear father of Sandra Alpert, Duane (Ginger) Thayer; beloved grandfather of Rustin (Jenn) Alpert, Ryan (Barrie) Alpert, Chris (Brenda) Sappenfield, Josh, Adam and Alex Thayer; great grandfather of Zachary, Logan, Austin and Isabella Alpert; Maggie, Tate, Brodie Alpert and Soren Sappenfield. Visitation, Tuesday, 5:00-8:00 PM, Funeral Service, Wednesday, 11:00 AM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Interment, Ft, Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Colorado 3545 S. Tamarac Dr. #200, Denver 80237 or Hospice of Metro Denver, 501 S. Cherry St. #700, Denver, CO 80246.
